"Megaman: Polarity 3"
My finest sprite animation on the Megaman/Ikaruga crossover.

Weeks after Megaman fought Bass in "Megaman: Polarity 2" are filled with little activity (the "little activity" being the events of "Reconstruction") When intelligence reports energy emissions matching Megaman's new ability focusing from an abandoned laboratory, Megaman goes to find not only the mysterious enemy from the first time now equipped with the same ability, but a plan deeper than he ever realized...

The "chronologically final" installment of the series was the last animation I made with Megaman sprites. There are four action sequences spread across the three main antagonists, and a plot twist even deeper than I originally imagined for the series. Megaman 7 sprites were still used, but I also used sprites from other games as well as traced a few "big spites" in Flash to make cinema sequences. From concept to completion, three months were spent on this project, and I wrote the story so that if this were the last installment, it could stand alone.

This piece was released in mid-November of 2003 to very positive reviews. The better storyline, more and longer battles, and higher framerate all helped this movie receive the first daily award in the series. After this I took a break from Flash and focused on schoolwork, but that didn't mean something else wasn't on the horizon.
